All of our 14 K Gold Filled Items are Genuine 14/20, ***NOT plated *** will last a lifetime. Gold Filled jewelry is made by wrapping layers of solid gold 14K sheets around a high quality jewelry brass base metal that is bonded. Unlike gold plated jewelry, gold filled jewelry actually has a measurable amount of gold in it and can last a life time. Sterling Silver can tarnish and should be kept in sealed jewelry bags.
